The Friends of the Hortense Miller Garden are delighted to present “Sky Wonder,” an autumn exhibition by Laguna Beach artist Katlin Evans.
Working in acrylic on canvas, Katlin explores the space between earth and sky, using bold gestures and delicate brushstrokes to capture the spontaneity and ever-changing rhythms of nature. Her paintings invite us to slow down, look up, and experience the landscape in a new way.
Katlin Evans earned her BFA from the University of Montana and MFA from CSU, Fullerton. She teaches Foundations at CSU Long Beach and Fullerton and maintains an active studio practice. She has exhibited at the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach since 2005.
