Sky Wonder: Art in the Garden
Now on view through mid-December 2026
The Friends of the Hortense Miller Garden are delighted to present “Sky Wonder,” an Autumn exhibition by Laguna Beach artist Katlin Evans.
Working in acrylic on canvas, Katlin explores the space between earth and sky, using bold gestures and delicate brushstrokes to capture the spontaneity and ever-changing rhythms of nature. Her paintings invite us to slow down, look up, and experience the landscape in a new way.
Katlin Evans earned her BFA from the University of Montana and MFA from CSU, Fullerton. She teaches Foundations at CSU Long Beach and Fullerton and maintains an active studio practice. She has exhibited at the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach since 2005.
“Sky Wonder” is on view in the Aviary Gallery through mid-December. Come wander the Garden, enjoy the changing season, and discover Katlin’s beautiful work along the way.

"The Quiet Appetite"
Through mid-September 2026
In Mary's own words: "Curiosity has always fueled my creativity. My goal is to create paintings that engage both visually and intellectually through the expressive use of color and form. In my earlier abstract work, narrative played little role; the focus was primarily on structure, movement, and the relationships between shapes and color.
