Hortense Miller was way ahead of the game in terms of healthy garden practices. She planted many native plants as well as non-native drought tolerant succulents. She also planted vertical gardens and encouraged wildlife populations in her garden. In fact, her garden has been a Certified Wildlife Habitat for many years. Our plaque is on the back gate. Hortense's home has also been recognized as a Registered Historical Structure since 1958.
If you, like Hortense, love the environment and want to help us keep this beautiful old Laguna garden flourishing, we would like you to consider making a special donation. If your place of work offers to match charitable donations, that's an even greater way to double your contribution.
