C. hiemalis |
|
| C. hiemalis was imported to Japan from Shanghai
as pot plants for winter holiday decorations. Originally
considered a form of C. sasanqua, it is now classified as C. hiemalis due
to its later, longer bloom and heavier-textured flowers.
The seedling for our plant originated from Jisuke Minagawa in Japan. It growns in the patio garden underneath the Jacaranda tree. |
